I haven't seen Coach for a couple of years. It will be good to see him and sit in on his class. He always, always gives us some things to think about. :thumbleft:

Ya know, if you shaved that dog's butt and taught it to walk backwards, it would so much look like my ex-wife.

* Pick up all the dog crap! I don't want a certain someone's wife to be madder than a wet hen again!

"Madder than a wet hen" is putting it very lightly. But we still love this gal and she made an excellent point. I can't wait to see her.

Rider Magazine-March 2010: The Minnesota Yeti

The new issue of Rider Magazine has a short 2 page write up on Victor Wanchena "The Minnesota Yeti". This guy rides his Ural Sidecar year round, every friggin day of the year. I've always thought you hackers were tough, but this guy is the king. If you don't subscribe to Rider, I think you...

And then to add to the greatness of the Black Dog, Tom and the event are mentioned in the June edition of AMA on page 26. Though only a paragraph, every little bit helps in this extremely fun event.

As always, Vernon, good stuff! Brother Andy, looks like an old pro at this. Only wish I could have been following you around on my Husky. The video's a decent 2nd though.

Diamond Lake Dual Sport Event

Spidyman (Jim Loveall) called and asked that I let everyone here know that Hwy 58 is closed as is Hwy 138 out of Roseburg due to forest fires. He suggests people going to Diamond Lake from Eugene take Hwy 126 over to Hwy 97 in Bend and then down to Hwy 138 to Diamond Lake. Northern folks need to gra...

Great ride Danno! You even opened my eyes to a road I'd never been on. The one between Camp and Idana where you can overlook Hwy 22 and a couple of meadows down below. I hope I can get back up there for another weekend before winter sets in. Thanks for all your work.

I'm glad you got to do the Beartooth. When on top, it's like being on a different planet and because of the altitude it will take your breath away. I disagree that the Chief Joseph Hwy is comparable. It's a fun highway but nothing like Beartooth. Have fun and ride safe.

Bummer about not getting into Canada. But I'm envying you anyway as Eastern Washington has a lot to offer in sight seeing. I haven't been up that way for years and want to get back. Keep, keeping us informed and ride safe.

For those of you that would like to get a sample of the Ty Curtis Band, you can go to tycurtisband.com and listen to some great blues. He also has a schedule of dates where you can enjoy their live music.
