canucks need some route info on Oregon cascades

Postby zoo » Sun Jun 07, 2015 8:21 am

Hi gang,
Needing to start around the Hood area and going south for a week.
Looking for route ideas with mostly dirt roads would be cool.
south from hood, around sister and then down around crater lake.
I asked for a similar request few years back for Colorado and ended up with a whole trip out of the response's, so feel free.
Not a big fan of the route 5 of the obdr as too much hot flat desert involved.
Also, any concerns about the snow level around sisters mountains for a ride june 18th.

thanks ,

Sorry, you posted this after the Black Dog, and I'm just now getting things in order. There are indeed options heading south and not to worry about snow levels, as they are very high. Terry is right that ADVrider will have input, but I can help you with routes too if needed. Let me know.
