Okay, we are finally getting things rolling!
Updated the preregistrations, trying to line up a live band for Saturday night, trying to set up a spaghetti dinner for Saturday night, hassling with permits and insurance changes... Stay tuned for more! -Tom

Tom, can you give some details of the facility and its offerings in the camping area. IE French toilets, showers, bike wash etc? Trying to decide which girl friend to bring. Haha, Thanks

Har, that's good! There are bathrooms with showers. The Fairgrounds itself is a huge, grassy area surrounded by fence. More info here: http://www.hoodriverfair.org/

The Pre-Ride Poop Sheet is now posted. I'm leaving today, so no more pre-entries (You'll need to post enter at the event!). From the sound of things, we'll be spending a LOT of time at the delivering end of a chainsaw, since there are tons of windfalls that the USFS is not clearing out, but relying on the public (us) to clear. Sigh...
We have some cool routes planned (different as always!), a BIG PARTY planned for Saturday night and a mellow ride planned for Sunday. Hey, it's our quarter-century ride, so we plan to party! We will upload pix and video throughout the week. See y'all up there! -Tom and the Gang

Would you like me to bring up my collection of past T shirts for your 25th? I also just found a 1993 Black Dog advertisement in Motorcycle news, You always ask on the entry form "where did you first learn about the Black Dog?" and this is the actual AD... I remember camping in the Doug Fir "Glen" with about 17 other riders, no water, no power, but it did rain a lot that year. I remember crawling out of my pickup truck and putting on sopping wet riding gear Sunday morning and heading up Still creek on my old Orange Dawg XR 217.5 cc in the rain... Getting to Pine Grove with a half gallon of water in each sleeve, meeting the wagon train on the Barlow, ah memories... Looks like you might need some clearing help? I could perhaps get up there a few days early if you need extra cutting crew?

Did more prep and recon today for the upcoming Black Dog. Since it's Memorial Weekend, the forests were FULL of everyone getting out, including us! Epic scenery, fun routes and good people - the recipe for a perfect day! -Tom

We had three different things going on yesterday: confirming Sunday's course, confirming/clearing part of Saturday's course and confirmation of the A course! It was a productive day!
