OKEY feeling a little less cabin feverish now
have a hit of this bossinova stuff> http://www.tadream.net/midi/TANGERINE/W ... sanova.mid
toaked bonnie for "a"ride this morning
she has the nudely tuned front end
and i must say it is pretty good pumpin her forks now

hard to tell too much since we were slideing between rainstormes
barkless 45 degee angle down trees
covered in slime doggies
with slick hard pack mud for traction

but i think this babe is pretty agile

oh~ did i mention that we have collected a hundred inches of rain
at 80 feet above sea level here since october 1st?
figure that out
its more than 1/2 " PER day at near sea level
since i live at 800' just minutes from the ocean
and ride up to over 5000' around here
just miles from the ocean

and given that 800' the precipitation figure is about 2.5 times sea level
thats about 300" at home
mostly (this time of year) i ride below 3500' elevation
just to be safe

there was snow up there today
and is is friggin mid april...

Yeah, the snow level on 'The Hood' is down around 3,000 ft now and is still DEEP. I will have to be very crafty to have a passable course this year, especially since most everything is over 3,000ft!

olde half wit bin Rydin often
talks in its sleep
he wanders around the bike garage
checking air pressure in the tires

he wispers into mine ears
of a day gone by when trails
were free to ride
and tawms were nought nessesary to ride

days when tickets and roll charts were
un heard of
and a man could mount his bonnie
and ride anywhere

his skills were capable of going...

we are all so woosed out now
we got the latest zoot stuff
but we lost the land
