I have posted my photos from this years Blackdog here:
http://adventuresidecar.com/BlackDog/BlackDog06.htm

We really had a great time-thanks to all of you for putting up with the sidecars! We look forward to doing the Black Dog all year long!

It was especially fun this year because my friend, Casey Houtz, and his little brother Brogan rode with us. Casey was driving #130 the black KLR sidecar rig. He took my sidecar class last June. The Black Dog was the second time he has ever driven a sidecar, outside of class!

Hi Dive!

The KLR is not near the bike my Triumph was. I do miss the horsepower! However it is an extremely capable machine and is lighter than the Triumph and easier to handle in the rough stuff.

The horsepower is comparable to the Ural, and like the Ural the gearing seems a good match to the power. I think the KLR will prove much more reliable than the Ural, which is what I need for my classes and tours.

We had a blast with the KLRs at the Black Dog!
