Mikey, Stefano and I took out to do some course recon. We planned on starting out at Bennett Pass, but oodles of snow (with rain) put the kabosh on that. So we then decided to drive down to Rock Cr. Reservoir and unload. Once there, it was its usual dry/dusty and we were off. We found some really interesting stuff that should make this year's Black Dog another epic event. For this route, we confirmed lunch and gas at Tygh Valley, along with some other options for the various skill levels. We tried to make our way up to the Flag Point Lookout, but there was just too much snow. All in all, we had 102 miles in, didn't get rained on, didn't crash (badly), didn't break down and finished in time to keep Stefano from having a divorce from his lovely wifey! :)
