The Black Dog AMA National Dualsport/Adventure Ride is Near!

Postby Tawmass » Wed Apr 23, 2008 2:31 pm

There’s just a little more than a month left, so be sure and get your entry in ASAP! Things are progressing nicely as we recon reroutes due to the low snow levels, but it’s still full speed ahead and will of course be a blast as always! As an added, fun bonus for you riders, KTM will be bringing their big 18-wheeler rig packed with plenty of KTM bikes to demo on a marked, off-road course! We’re also working with Ural and BMW to see if they can show up with demo machines too. One of our long-time sponsors (Beaverton Honda/Yamaha) will also be there with demo bikes from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki and even Beta!

As always, we will have fun, accurate course routes for B and C-level riders, but this time there will be more trail for the A and AA riders! We moved up the date to June 7~8 to get us out of the typical July fire season closures of the past, so we have everyone covered. Oh, and the new adventure-bike courses will provide plenty of scenery and miles! For more info, be sure and shift your bike over to our website:

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

art there hot chocolotes at the check points? Is that a New Orleans question?

should i put the number two, or # one spikes in my ice tires ? Spike your tires anyway you want. Tom uses Tequilla. I use Jamacian Rum.

Are we required to pack a 18" or 24" chainsaw on our bikes ? 48 foot flame thrower would be the tool for this year.

If I bring a larger tarp this year

will a 1986 Toyota truck get air born ? Do they make bigger tarps than the one you had last year?

Will I see God going across the bridge overt the river columbia ? Hit another post and you may think you're seeing God.

Will Dan be playing that chain saw "tune" again around the campfire ? I thought he only knew the "Deliverance" banjo tune.

If I get lost on the roll chart, will it be OK if its your fault again ? We all know it's always Tom's fault.

oh lookie overt there, a DR in the daisies..... Hey that weld job is probably still holding.

Danno will tell you, just devour another can of beans.

Sorry Lee, I couldn't resist. See ya at the Dog. :)
