We went astray looking for the "Clutch Trail" You'd think it would be burned in my memory having spent so much time there, but we blew right by it and ended up on a really tough bit of track. We eventually got lonely and turned around to find the route again, but not before I hit a stump with the sidecar wheel and was punted into the manzanita!

Trail 14 during the 2009 Black Dog Dualsport Rally, Mt.Hood Oregon
This section of trail, towards the end of the rally, was especially challenging for the sidecars. Cut into a steep hillside, the road sloped away towards the left. It was too narrow to pick a line, with stumps, snags and rocks in the path. Keeping the sidecar from flipping over the bike required the driver and the monkey to shift their weight to the right. Mr.Cob had a particularly hard time of it as his weiner dogs haven't learned this skill yet.
It was a pretty ride, just hard enough for bragging rights and a lot of fun!
