We went over 7 mile Hill to The Dalles for a gas stop. The panorama of the Eastern Gorge was stunning!

Godberson Road was a rough, dusty section on the way back from The Dalles Saturday afternoon

This is where we lost Godberson Road. You can see we were not alone in our error. Eventually we came out on Fir Mountain. Most of the bikes we caught up chose to head down Fir Mountain Road. We went up Fir Mountain to 1710 and dropped down to FS 17 a little below where we should have been had we not missed our turn, and were back on route the rest of the way in to the fairgrounds.

Great and appropriate song!

I know exactly where that turn was you missed. It was rather inconspicious, but a fun little rip. You'll have to go back and ride through it sometime!

Thanks for posting!

Finding Bradley and Sandra from Kennewick WA!

Postby Love2Roam » Wed Jun 24, 2009 11:46 pm

Trying to track down contact number for Brad and Sandra from Kennewick WA!

We had a terrific time at BlackDog this year.. they called and left a number for me.. I guess I must have written it down wrong 'cause it rings as a disconnected number. Anyone here know how to reach them ? They are trying to find out info for this weekend for the Waterfront Blues Fest in Portland.. I'd love to respond to them! Please write me at gigginthenarrows@aol.com Thanks so much! Barbara

Gilhouley Road over Middle mountain, Sunday morning at the Black Dog. Nicholas is navigating for his father, Andy, followed closely by Dave"Mr.Cob" Hooker, Terry and Stephanie, with Rob Booth navigating for Vernon on the Adventure Sidecar KLR.

We have a Sony bullet cam mounted to a boom on the front of Andy's KLR and Vernon is wearing an Oregon Scientific ATC2000 helmet cam

Barbara, there was at least three Brads registered at the event. Got a last name?

The National Forest has hundreds of miles of remote, one lane go cart track running through it.

Andy and Nicholas rip across FS4890 on the South side of Mt.Hood during the 2009 Black Dog Dualsport Rally.

High winds the day before littered the narrow, one laned pavement with forest debris
