Yep, that's what I'd call them - survivors - all those folks on the big adventure bikes . I thought the first climb with not just the rocks, but boulders the size of helmets would have taken those folks out. I was thinking (probably a mistake) that our little group would just zip on up with our Beta's and the honda 250 we would be clear - no freekin way . The sidecar action (Verne I think) started up , there was a huge KTM adventure bike kinda stopped, kinda started, kinda getting sideways and Verne gettin closer, then Verne was doing it with only 2 wheels, dang it was crazy. Once he cleared the Big Guy we went up and around the corner, walked back down and Verne had already abandoned his ride to go back and help the KTM. Wow, what an initial challenge.

The 5 inch gravel wasn't much fun either.

We noticed Andy's sidecar looked like it was folding up. We thought the mounts had shifted so we stopped to adjust them. We found one of the struts had fractured, so we loaded his passenger on my rig and followed Andy back to the shop to make repairs. Amy and Monica were ahead of us and made it to Wamic and back.







We got swept....





This was waiting for us back at the fairgrounds!


back at the Ural compound, repairs were also being made....



Team Estrogen made it back from Eastern Oregon around 6:30

Didn't get as many photos Sunday-the water killed my cameras







There were some"pucker moments"


Even so, Sunday Monica was on her game, riding fast and having fun!


This rider(Andy) busted a footpeg Saturday-looks like my weld held together for the Sunday ride!

My brother took Nic timber cruising; he got sideways through a deep puddle, popped off a log and a rut rerouted him into the trees. This rock stopped him

I hit this puddle fast and it blew apart my trash collection bag. I went back and found beer cans bobbing around like boats on a lake!










Back at Trout Lake, a much appreciated hot lunch was provided by Fun Country Motorcycle of The Dalles!









Andy's sidecar folded up again- we haven't found what broke but there was motion at the rear mount. We took Nic home on our rig before returning to the fairgrounds
