Oregon DualSport Riders

Welcome to our homepage!  This was spurred by all the interest from the Oregon_DSR Message Board.  This site is a place where Oregon and Northwest Dualsport and Adventure Riders of all types of dualsport motorcycles can find information on future event and non-event dualsport rides.  

The Oregon DSR was formed in 2001 for a group of 6 riders to use as a place to meet and plan rides on the internet.  Since then we have grown and have helped inform many riders of new
and exciting places to visit and enjoy.  As a non-funded, non-profit group all we do is on a volunteer basis and is driven from the passion within for this sport.

Understanding that our riding areas, both OHV and Non-OHV, are always at risk of being closed to use, we put on our first fund-raising event in '05 called the Cascade 150. After event costs, the remaining monies was donated to the OMRA [Legislative Fund], our sanctioning body for the State of Oregon. We will be doing the same again in 2006, so if you ride a dualsport motorcycle and you want to help keep our riding areas open, we would encourage you to come out and join us.

We as riders understand that our forests are multi-use playgrounds for many different activities, from hiking - horseback riding - camping - skiing and so on. This is why we have strived to show that we care about our environment. For many years we have attended clean-up days. There are also other organizations that volunteer their time and resources to this important issue.
