Hey Vern, You have your own URL now? Cool! Remind me to add a link to it from my Links section on this site. -Tom Please do, Tawm! I am trying to get the search engines to find the damned site; I am told links on other sites will be helpful towards that end. http://adventuresidecar.com/images/Photo...

Johnny(can you hear me)- if you are going to ride a Ural, you will want a bicycle computer and a roll chart holder, for sure. The Ural trip meter reads in kilometers and converting the milage on the roll chart to klicks will almost certainly get you lost. Be sure to calibrate the speedo and practice...

What a great idea!
I know the logistics of moving one day from Welches to Kahneetah the next would be difficult for those token dualsporters that trailer thier bikes to the event and live in palatial RVs for the weekend, but it should pose noproblem for the run what ya brung crowd  Seriously, I would love to ride...

Lee, I know Dick very well. Bend is too far away and doesn't have some of the scenery. The places considered so far are Mt. St. Helens area, SW Washington, upper Tillamook Forest, Heppner and Santiam Forest. -Tom It would be a shame to move it off Mt.Hood. Maybe you can find a different staging are...

New Years Ride 2005
Amy suggested we go for a ride today, so I called our friend Vince. He agreed to ride over the ridge from Mosier and we would ride back to his house together for a little sushi. http://www.triumph-tiger.com/phpBB2/files/05ny2.jpg After we rode the Rat Dog together last fall on a Ural GearUp, Vince b...

Hey Dan
Dan I am thinking we need to take you for a real sidecar ride before you lay out the course for the scardey cat-just so you know what we can and can not do with the rigs. Let me know when you want to do it.

Wow, Vern, looks like a blast! A pale, Yamaha in color, nice front disc and it appears to be 2WD. Can I get in line for a ride? :D Hey, my little Bro went to the Cycle Show in SoCal and talked with the Ural guys. He said he struck up conversation with one of them and they said they rode the Black D...

Sidecars at the Scaredy Cat!
I was at the IMWA headquarters in Redmond, Washington last weekend. Gary Kelsey told me they were commited to be at the Black Dog in 2005. I told him about the Scaredy Cat and he said they would show for that as well! While I was at the warehouse I got a chance to test ride the motocross factory spe...

I need a list of the trophy winners for this years RatDog. Any of the lucky winners have any pithy remarks, I may be able to use those as well.

Brian Mortinson
I am trying to reach Brian Mortinson. He had a blue and cream Ural sidecar rig at the BlackDog, I think he was #164. Rumor was he retired Saturday with a hole in either his oilpan or transmission, leaking oil. Anyone know how to contact him? http://www.russianiron.com/forums/uploads/post-7-109857324...
