Damn that looks like fun! I just looked at the list of riders and they are from all over the state! I am so glad this event has taken off and is in year three. Hopefully it will continue to be successful for years and years. Congrats!

Well, the 2019 Dog Face Ride has come and gone! Wow, was it great weather too! The courses consisted of A Course (44miles), B Course (75 miles) and C Course (50 miles), then once everyone got back, they all had the South Loop to ride, which was another 87 miles (with a Bail-Out Option halfway through). Since the skies were cloudless, there was plenty of views to take in, plus no dust (it rained like crazy just days before)! As always with NW Tour & Trail, the rollcharts were spot on, plus there was GPS tracklogs as a backup. The new staging area in the Prospect Lion's Community Park was perfect and the town offers a gas station (with non-ethanol gas!), a store, a restaurant and a great bar (The Trophy Room) [which was the secret question]!

It was so successful in fact that we will offer the event again next year and probably add a second day's ride for the people that come from far away to get their money's worth!

HUGE thanks to the sponsors: Steahly Off-Road, OMA KTM in Phoenix, Hansen's BMW in Phoenix, Western Powersports, Howard's Signery in Rogue River and Airhead Motorcycles in Klamath Falls! If it wasn't for them, we couldn't provide for the riders!

MANY props to the super group of friends who came down from up north: Scott & Mary Wilson, Kerry Owen, Dave Klug, Dan Hatcher, Ron Hughes and it was really great to see Doug White out on two wheels again! Other awesome helpers were: Tiny Knight, Rod Nordstrom, Willy Moore (heal up Willy!), Neal & Kai Peters, my wonderful Wife, Donna, and Gary Howard! Without these people, the event simply could not happen!

When the beautiful day was done, there were no injuries and nobody got lost, plus there was huge hot dogs, sodas and water for everyone, thanks to Mary! But wait, there's more! Riders were supplied with small garbage bags to bring in a minimum of five pieces of trash from our public lands for points. And we ended up with TONS of trash - yes!

You can click on the links above [scroll up] for videos on the different courses, and the pictures below are from the staging area of the event. See y'all next year for an even bigger/better event, in fact possibly a 2-day event!
